I have taken such a long break I'm almost embarrassed to even post this lol, but I have a great excuse--
I got a big girl job!
Okay okay, so it's not really a big girl job, it's literally only weekends, but it's been the most mentally-refreshing and fun thing to happen to me in years.
There are things stay-at-home-moms don't talk about much, like how sometimes it gets lonely staying home all day, and you feel distant from the world, and how sometimes I need to 'clock out', but I can't. I've been a housewife for 8 years, to get a weekend gig is seriously making me jump for joy!
I get dressed up, talk to amazing people all day, and make money.... umm yes please.
"WHERE?", I can hear you all thinking.
Oh, you know, just at the world's largest, finest, and most couture fashion institute in history...
Nordstrom Flagship.
The mother of all Nordstrom's, we carry Gucci, Chanel, Prada, Versace, Valentino, Burberry, Fendi, Louis Vuitton... basically, the best of the best, and I'm part of this. It's truly an honor.
Although I have big dreams once both girls are in school, it's nice to have a place to go on Saturdays to be social, connect with people, and reach goals. I super love my job!
So, there you go! That's what I've been up to. Now that I've gotten the hang of balancing work with home, I should be able to resume blogging, I really miss this.
